Crooks August 2006 Newsletter
Hi,
Oh, my, it's been a long time, hasn't it? It's great to be able
to send you a newsletter and let you know I have a new book
out! Finally!
If
you might recall, a couple of years ago, Harlequin was doing
some re-shuffling and thought they wanted to close their Historical
line. Due to protests from stores who did well with the books,
Harlequin reconsidered and moved the line to London. All that
took time and pushed authors' schedules back for months.
The
good news is that Harlequin Historicals is going full steam
again. I've got more work than I can handle, and I'm thrilled
to announce my newest title, WANTED!, is on the shelves as we
speak.

Here's a quick blurb about Lark and Ross's story: Lark Renault,
alias Wild Red, is a former outlaw turned respectable. She loves
her life as an honest, law-abiding bank teller in a small Iowa
town. But her past comes back to haunt her. His name is Catfish
Jack, and he wants the money she stole and buried when she rode
with the infamous Reno gang. Only one man can keep her safe.
Ross Santana, the bounty hunter determined to arrest her and
close the only case he'd never solved.
But
if he does, it would destroy her -- and the unexpected love
they've found.

Even better news is I'll have another book out soon. HER LONE
PROTECTOR will be released in December, 2006. This is Creed
Sherman's story, the sequel to THE MERCENARY'S KISS. I'll send
you a note to remind you then.
In
addition, I've just signed a three book deal--two books and
a novella. No release date on the first and third books, but
the second will be a Christmas anthology I'll do with longtime
pal, Cheryl St. John, Jenna Kernan is lined up with us, and
the book should be out in October, 2007.
