| Hi!
|
| I've
long enjoyed the Old West era. I've lived in Nebraska all my life, and a
good chunk of those years were in western Nebraska, so it was only
natural, I guess, that I grew to love the time period. Watching all the
popular westerns like Bonanza, High Chapparel, Gunsmoke, and Rawhide--with
that cutie Rowdy Yates--influenced me a bit, too.
It seems I've
written forever. While waiting for my husband to return from the graveyard
shift at Union Pacific years and years ago, I'd pen my story in a spiral
notebook with only Johnny Carson and his Tonight Show to keep me company.
When I received an electric typewriter as a birthday gift, I thought I'd
hit the big-time.
But it wasn't
until we moved to eastern
Nebraska
that I discovered Romance Writers of America and my local chapter. The
computer age hit, and I was off running. I've managed to accrue my share
of writing and service awards since then, and I've held countless elected
and volunteer positions within my local chapter.
I'm currently president of one of
Omaha
's RWA chapters, CAMEO; I also belong to Prairieland Romance Writers as
well as the mystery suspense chapter, Kiss of Death.

| My
best,
Pam
